Why it's not just vocabulary
You can speak fluent French or English and still walk out of a meeting wondering what just happened. You can nail your Spanish grammar and still miss the actual point of the conversation. Language lessons get you started but won't tell you what people actually say. Culture shows you the path underneath language and how people communicate. I teach both, because one without the other just keeps you on the outside looking in.
